Bravest Community in the world
Why Sikhs considered as Bravest Community in the world?
Sikhs are considered the Bravest Community. because of valid
facts that exist to support the claims. Sikh have fought a great many amount of
wars, and won them against Unimaginable odds.
The First Battle of Anandpur (1700)
The Battle of Anandpur was fought at Anandpur, between the armies of the Sikh Guru Gobind Singh and the Mughal forces aided by the Nawab of Bahawalpur state, Rajas of the Sivalik Hills.
Battle of Chamkaur (1704)
Sikh Soldiers stuck up in the hill, surrounded by 10 Lakh Mughal
Soldiers. While we Had less than 50 Soldiers. See Jasmeet Kaur's answer to Why
is it quoted as "One Sikh is equal to 1.25 lakh people"? Is there any
story behind that?
Battles of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Battles of Guru Gobind
Singh Ji. Battles of Banda Singh Bahadur. To see some brave Warriors I
mentioned in another Question, Sukhbir Singh's answer to Were/Are Sikhs good
warriors?
But Bravery doesn’t come only from Fighting Wars?
When the Kashmiri Pandits came to Guru Teg Bahadur Singh Ji. The Guru asked who was brave enough to help them. Then Guru Gobind Singh Ji Proudly and Bravely said, who could be more brave than you Father; Guru Teg Bahadur Singh Ji.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji sent his two elder Sons to War.
Sahibzada Ajit Singh, and Sahibzada Jujhar Singh. It is very hard to send your
own sons to war. Guru Gobind Singh Ji was very Brave, and protected Sikhi.
Chote Sahibzade
The Chhote Sahibzaade being just 6 and 9 Years old displayed
great Bravery. They were given a choice to convert to Islam , or Die. They
bravely told the Mughal of their Intentions, and did not bow to the
Mughal.SikhiWiki, free Sikh encyclopedia.
The Mughals Killed Banda Singh Bahadur’s Son in front of his
eyes. And Continued to torture him for days. The Mughals killed his Warriors in
front of him and told him, if he does not convert to Islam, they will kill his
son. Banda Singh Bahadur did not conceal. He remained grounded on His
Intentions.
At last but not the least jarnayl hari singh nalwa, in most
of the questions we forget to mention about him. But he was also one of most
important characters in sikh history. He was the Governor of sikh army under
maharaja ranjit singh’s regime. (to read about him click Hari Singh Nalwa) .
moreover there are many other persons also that i can’t name for instance there
were 21 sikhs who fought against 1400 pashtuns (to read more click Battle of
Saragarhi: When 21 Sikhs Faced 14,000 Pashtuns And Won) and there are many more.
Being such a small community sikhs have fought against a
huge number of armies and still most of the time never gets defeated. Might be
that’s the reason why sikhs are one of the most strongest communities in
existence.
