• Visit the official CIBIL website www.cibil.com.
• Click on 'Get Your Free CIBIL Score' displayed on the home page.
• Then create your personal details such as your name, email id and password. You select an ID proof (Passport Number, PAN Card, Aadhaar or Voter ID). You will then need to enter your PIN code, date of birth and phone number.
• After submitting all the details, click on 'Accept & Continue '.
• An OTP will be sent to the given mobile number. Enter the OTP in the specified field and click on 'Continue'.
• A message as “You have successfully enrolled” will appear. Then click on Go to Dashboard.
• Your CIBIL score will be displayed on the screen.
• It is advisable to click on the 'No Thanks' or 'Cross' button on the pop-up that appears between the steps to avoid sharing your personal data with third parties.

What is a good CIBIL score for taking a personal loan?

The CIBIL score is awarded in the range of 300-900. Thus, having a CIBIL score close to 900 is ideal as it helps you get better deals on loans and credit cards.
